REVIEW - Marcelle New Age Anti-Wrinkle Makeup

I know it's been a while since my last post. I have been keeping quite busy with work and fighting a cold. I'm back now and ready to rock another review.

I mentioned in my last review that I would be breaking down some of the goodies I received from Marcelle/Annabelle Cosmetics as I had the chance to wear them and test them out. So I now present to you my two cents on Marcelle New Age Anti-Wrinkle Makeup.

I am SO not the poster girl for drug store brand makeup. In fact, for most of my makeup wearing years I have been a self proclaimed makeup "snob", if I may. The opportunity to step outside my box and give a foundation that is sold at the local pharmacy a fair and honest chance was a little scary and exciting. Like most of us makeup wearers out there, foundation is the most personal in my regimen. I'll grab a cheap lip gloss or eyeshadow to play around with, but don't mess with my base.

On with my adventure.....

I have been using this product pretty religiously since I received the package in the mail. I will admit, I didn't want to like it. The "snob" in me wanted to prove some glorious point about drug store foundation and how it just doesn't measure up to the higher end brands. Boy was I mistaken!

This felt great on my skin and was easy to apply with both a foundation brush and my fingers. Very lightweight but moisturizing. The coverage was perfection and my skin was left looking absolutely luminous. I also appreciate the packaging including a pump so you can control how much product to use (which for me was half a pump).

Now for the anti-aging aspect...
Marcelle is gearing this for the 35+ crowd which I can understand. This foundation really delivers in hydrating the skin and giving that youthful glow. I am a 30-something woman with what I think is relatively good skin for my age. I found this to be the perfect addition to my skin care routine. The foundation contains a oligopeptide complex which will help diminish the appearance of fine lines and titanium dioxide for essential sun protection. I am always for a product that helps me stay looking as youthful as possible without injections and scalpels. For ladies in their mid-late 20's, I'm sure this would be a lovely choice for preventative care if your skin tends to be dry or dehydrated.

Overall, I'm more than impressed with this foundation and will continue using it. Props to Marcelle for making a quality drug store brand product. I will use and recommend this to my clients who are looking for a makeup that is infused with anti-aging ingredients and a flawless finish.

Thanks for helping me become a little more makeup "open minded".
