Hi, I noticed you were using both MAC lipmix and OCC lip tar. I was wondering what you thought of both. I own lots of lipmixes but no lip tars. Are they similar? Are lip tars drying? Do lip tars last long? Which do you like more? Thanks!!

Liptars are a little runnier but easily mixed with Lipmix. I find the Liptars drying...(but long lasting)
I find the Lipmix's are similar wearing while they are on my lips even though it comes out creamier from the tube.

Thanks! So in general, which would you recommend? I want to further expand my Lipmix collection but if Lip Tars are better, I rather buy those. I feel that OCC Lip Tars come more colors (like bright blue).. but you said they're drying? Are they more drying than Lipmixes? I noticed my white lipmix is incredibly drying if I overdo it. Sorry if this seems long.. So glad you've tried both products.

I would say they are par with each other texture wise. You need a lot less of the lip tar for application and they are runnier than lipmix.

I couldn't really choose between the two if they were right in front of me. That would depend on what colour I wanted.
