If you haven't heard of Illamasqua yet, please go directly to their website and be prepared to be blown away. This brand is just what the makeup world needed. Something that was in your face, edgy and pushing the envelope in a way that makes you stop and pay attention. I think I am in love.
I first heard of this watching a YouTube vid by web-celebs 'Pixiwoo'. The makeup artist was raving about this brand and how amazing their products were. Immediately I checked out the website and I haven't stopped pawing at the screen wanting to get my hands on some goodies ever since.
From what I've read, the company (based in the UK) says to have stemmed from "the dark and illicit 1920s club scene", as well as being inspired by alternative scenes. Currently, it is only available at select stores in the United Kingdom, but they are soon to be launching online shopping in the US. The only negative thing I can say is that we Canadians are not going to be able to indulge. In the meantime, keep your eye out for this line, bloggers.
